Nothing is sacred!  Well, not exactly. Some things are still off limits, but the rest - the mundane experiences of human existence and the life-altering moments we endure - are filled with both latent comedy and mind-boggling tests of character. It can't all be funny, but sometimes you have to choose: Laugh or Cry?

I am a 42-year old woman and mother to a teenage daughter, a creative and tenderhearted girl who spends a great deal of energy making me laugh, despite the uphill battles we have faced together over the years. After leaving my job at a software company in 2011 to tend to her recovery from an illness, I started writing to process this life that has been drastically different than what I imagined for us. There is not much time get the words out of my head lately but the intent is always there. Check back and thanks for reading.

    You seem to have a passion for writing as well for life and for that I applaud you.
